Sami Tales, written and developed by Discovery Kids professional educators provides children with the knowledge and experience necessary to learn about themselves and their world.

The Sami Tales curriculum is a universal reading program combined with early math development that promotes literacy and character development. It includes planned activities, materials, and equipment, and is designed for intentional interaction between the teacher and children,  as well as child-to-child interaction within the class.

We understand that children’s education is constantly changing, and some centers pride themselves on being a “Play-based learning” or “Academic” childcare. At Discovery Kids, we provide both types of learning. During what we like to call “Centers,” the children have an opportunity to learn through play. During “Class Activity,” our teachers focus on one concept each day, which can be reading, language, math, science, or art. Our curriculum is adapted for all ages.
